Don't worry Debs or anyone else who'se decided to stay home. Some of us reach that certain age...stage.. of life where going out on NYE is just a bit too much. Very few proper "local" pubs left now due to brewery charges & smoking ban & i'm not into the town Wetherspoon pub or club scene. I've become a home bird over the last few years, cooked a ham joint with mash, veggies & a light onion stock (Boxing day dinner) & the voddies are going down well. Phone & texts are busy from friends & family, fireworks are going off outside. I can visit friends within walking distance & don't have to get up tomorrow!!!
    However you decide to spend your new year, enjoy & wishes with you all, Guy.XXXX

Says you from Barnsley or is it Wakey? Lincolnshire is much more select old bean. We're more resourceful than you think. We have no ammo for said firearms so we pistol whip everyone.

I should probably be out getting drunk somewhere given my age (alright, I'm not that young anymore, I suppose) but nay.. here I am, home alone, Star Trek: Voyager on the TV and a can of coke.

Might even push the boat out and order pizza.

Wouldn't mind a couple of fuzzy companions to keep me company, though.

I think they'd make short work of the floors in here.. perhaps something more feline would be in order, and furry would have been a better word..
