More Wikileaks in the DT
« on: 04 February 2011, 23:33:42 »

Information about every Trident missile the US supplies to Britain will be given to Russia as part of an arms control deal signed by President Barack Obama next week.

Thanks a bundle, Barry.  ::) ::) ::) >:(

Duchess of York Sarah Ferguson's undercover expose of Turkish orphanages dominated bilateral relations discussions. [David] Miliband underscored to Babacan that Ferguson was no longer a member of the royal family and, as a private citizen, her activities could not "be controlled."

So Millipede,you're only sorry you could not "control" a private citizen, eh? ::) ::)

I despair.  :( :(

honestly, Sarah Ferguson could take pictures of more important facts, like when the police break the heads of students.. and I'm sure many people can guess the situation of orphanages without any visit.. :(

I rank them alongside terrorists and suspect that supporters are really anarchists.

They have no way of knowing who their real victims are.

I would tend to agree with that sentiment, Chris, especially given the leaking of military detail, which is unforegivable. >:( >:(

That said, it is hard to ignore some of the political revelations. :o

Fair comment and it may well be that they will be brought to justice for breaking the law(s). There hopefully will always be folk prepared (if necessary) to lay down their lives in the pursuit of balance and exposure of wrong doings.
Throughout the ages of man there have always been people prepared to do this. Long may it continue.

it may seem outrageous at first, but delve a bit deeper and all the yanks did was tell the russkies how many we had, they werent giving them launch codes or overrides or anything (my information may be based on Bond movies and various hollywood blockbusters  ;D) :o

I agree BJ :y :y

Under the terms of all the nuclear arms treaties USA, Russia and all their allies number of warheads have been counted and fully taken into account.  That is why our Trafalgar class submarines only carry 12 missles, each with multiple warheads, and not the 16 they can carry.  I cannot see what "secrets" have been disclosed with the numbers being released.  As you say BJ Russia have no launch codes, and also they will never know exactly where our patrolling Trafalgar class submarine is. ;)
