Cem - thanks - what a fascinating place - so much history and beauty 

thanks Banjax.. its an old city really.. known history goes more than 10K years..  and take the capitol position from [ch304]stanbul in 1923 after the young republic kicked the ottoman dynasty.. which some power centers and religious masses dont accept and try to continue the debate..

i took my seat  and enjoyed the show ,the only downside was that there where no refreshments!!!

Lovely pics Cem.  Will look through them again in more detail later.

Wife and I tried to visit Bodrum last October but got rained off.  They couldn't even dock the ferry at Kos so we got our money back.  Ankara would have been a bit too far for a day trip but maybe some time !
