Really sad news this.   I knew Jet fairly well as I've played in a Shadows tribute band for past 10years & used to see him at various Shadows & instrumental music  functions & events.

Last time I saw & spoke with him  was last September at Shadowmania at Lakeside Frimley Green. & he looked quite ill.

He very kindly autographed one of my stratocasters on that occasion.

A great loss to british music ,   RIP  Jet & thanks for all the good times we had :'( :'( :'( :'(

Met him twice, and thought he was a lovely bloke. Was very interested in my Parker Fly, and played it, saying it was a bit "light"!!

A real loss, I'll bet Hank is really cut up..................... :'(

Afaik the other Shadows "cut him off" and airbrushed him from history ? :-/
Sad loss btw. Saw him interviewed a couple of years ago. Seemed like a genuine bloke. :y

your right Albs,     many Shadows fans could not understand why Jet was not included for at least a couple of numbers in the Cliff & The Shadows 50 years tour.  >:( >:(
