Anybody catch that news article yesterday concerning shift workers?
Apparently 67% of shift workers doing 11 hour shifts are more likely to suffer heart problems. 

Thank goodness we do 12 hour shifts at our place. Phew!!.........  :-?

i like long shifts. the more tax i pay the more i get back. did my tax return earlier on and all last years tax is on its way back next week.

It is also a fact that 50% of these shiftworkers will die before the age of 70, but the remainders chances are only 50-50......

12 hrs i wish 13-16 hrs i was doing and only having 1day a week off. was doing that for 3years with on time off.

to many to think of, did put me in hospital a few times but back at work after.. stopped when wife got a job thank god.

me too. hospitalised twice through 100hrs a week 7 days a week run down and stressed out all the time. we dont realise what it does to us. but now i cant wait to get back to big shifts after all this time off.

15 hour shifts on weekdays and 12 hour shifts at weekends for me.

Then after all the hours at work we all manage to spend countless hours chewing the fat on here

That works for me! 

I used to do 6 days and 5 nights alternating a couple of years ago....probably why I'm knackered now.
