Ahh 50 years after they ripped up the Great Central, we need it back  ::)

High Speed excluding inter-continental, will not work:

Javelin Trains are £10 more expensive per return trip than "standard" trains.

So either spend £200 more and get about 15 minutes longer in bed, or save £200 and get up a tad earlier?

Hummmm  ::)

Same will happen with HS2, West Coast/Paddington/Marylebone line will be significantly cheaper

The reason HS2 will sadly go ahead is that it has become the job for a load of useless civil servants.

It will be a grose waste of our money.
