Assen Motogp tomorrow (sat) and Cal is back
« on: 24 June 2011, 23:14:42 »

Assen is always on Sat and that's, er, tomorrow. :)
Tradition apparently. No more than that.

Crutchlow is back on track and competitive after braking a collar bone a mere two weeks ago at silverstone. How on earth that's possible...?  I know they can pin it for quick recovery but even so.

The Yamaha,s are in proper red and black.

Rossi is sulking koz he can't have enough engines.

And Stoner is killing everything.

Come on! :y

Yep - All of Rossis nightmares have become reality this season and it goes from bad to worse. I still think him and Burgess will get there in the end though, as long as Ducati will sing from the same hymn book as they are. Hes still the best theres ever been though, and even if he never won another race, it still wouldnt change that.
Nice to see Cal back.I do like his attitude, gutsy as hell and undoubtedly a good rider. Just how good he will be at this level time will tell, but the signs are imo that he has a brighter future than tossland was ever going to have.
Simoncelli on pole - that could be interesting. ::) :)

Yes Scl really needs to stay on. Spies might surprise, his ever improving approach continues, although he's had a few offs recently too.

Apparently Rossi has ridden next years bike and wants that now. Also doesn't care that he's on his fourth or fifth engine out of 6 for the year.
When asked about the engine penalty and rules ha said..." so we start from the back of the grid"  ;D.  Fair play.  :y

He rode next years bike with next years engine and it went well. So this weekend he is riding next years bike, with this years engine - and its a dog. Smacks a bit of desperation tactics to me tbh. They need to plug away at the current bike and get it right, unless they have actually come to the conclusion that its fundamentally shite and not worth the bother ?
I find Spies very impressive indeeed, could well have a championship or two in him. ;)
