I think the wedge shapes were the 18/22 range designation.

The landcrabs were the Austin/Morris 1800/2200 and the Wolseley were the 18/85 and 18/85s with the Wolsely 6 as the daddy.

I liked my Wolsely 18/85s.  Twin break off SU's on the 1800 A series engine.  Good fun, despite front wheel drive.

As an aside, made a great passion waggon.

Front seats were hard up against each other, no gaps, with the handbrake out the dashboard.  gearleaver was of the magic wand vintage and, being a Wolsely, the front seats reclined fully.

.....against the front edge of the rear seat squab, making a rather good representation of a double bed without the handbrake or gear levers to get in the way.

Worked for me, says he, 31 years later.....   ;)

Ah, but did it work for her?.... :D :D
