What Wild Flowers are these??
« on: 19 August 2011, 10:59:40 »

We were out yesterday on a walk and saw this Wild Flower. Mrs. Loo-knee did not agree with me that it was a Fox Glove..... does anyone know???

Also the other day we were walking along the Canal Toepath when I saw what we used to call as kids "Sticky Buds"..... so I gathered quite a few from the bush, whilst the kids and Mrs were not looking  ;) then began a War  ;D ;D ;D ;D this is how I ended up :D
But from what plant/bush do "Sticky Buds" come from??

That looks like London Pride. The first weed to grow back after bombing in the war.

DLK - think your flowers are Rose Bay Willow Herb, introduced by the Victorians who grew them as flowers but now just a rampant weed.
