I saw few rescue vans speeding trough the town, helycopters above than called me from work,.....this hasn't hapened here since 1983 when 35 people died. Really glad I'm not working this three weeks.

Yes, pic isn't good I know, didn't go closer. I'll post another but from news, can be clearly seen. Luckily speed at station area is limited to 30km/h otherwise there would be worse. 34 people taken to hospital, two badly injured

..it hapens .... Don't know what's the reason, heard something about driver driving trough red signal but I don't buy it. Can't be possible due to all safety precotions.....or can? Time will tell

Depends if it has ATP (Automatic Train Protection???)

That applies the brakes if it went through a red.

Looks like it was low-ish speed. Could have been a lot worse.

Atp is called apb here, it does apply brakes but driver can "by-pass" it, that's what most passengers don't know, luckily :o 8-) Afaik both drivers got signal on green which is almost impossible
