Omega mats
« on: 20 January 2010, 14:57:14 »

Do Vx dealers still sell interior mat sets for the Omega, the proper one's with the fixing holes/buttons?
I need the fixing buttons as well, are these still available from the dealer?
If available for these items, what sort of price are they, anyone bought recently?

Also can you buy any good quality one's as above from anywhere else with the Omega logo and fixings

The part number for the 'velour classic' mat set with 'OMEGA' sewn into the two front mats is; 91132419
The fixing button things are included, they're about £42 retail inc VAT I believe.

Have a scan around ebay - I remember seeing an ad a few weeks ago as I was thinking the same thing.
Whoever it was, sold what appeared to be decent mats, different colours and the edge binding any other colour with some text embroidered to your requirements.
Got a feeling they were around £40 for a set.

*EDIT* Found it........... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Vauxhall-Omega-94-03-LUXURY-Deep-Pile-Car-Floor-Mats_W0QQitemZ300292433995QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item45ead2e84b#ht_3053wt_752

Mick

Yes you can buy both from a Vx Stealer but the only mat with holes and clips is the Drivers.
For some reason they no longer seam to sell the mats all with holes and clips.

The Vx clips (push and turn type) are in my Opinion about as much use as a chocolate tea pot.
If you are able to find an idea of your own/ adapt another way of using said floor holes, let me know!
Cheers,

Matthew

This is the reply I got from a guy on the bay selling car mats

Hi,
Sorry , we are not doing embroi at this time , cause haveing prob with our machine . we can do binding in different colours.
Our three different qualities are:
Standard: £24.99 inc. p&p
Plush: £34.99 inc. p&p – these are similar to your manufacturers quality
Luxurious: £44.99 inc. p&p – these use a heavy weighted dense, deep pile carpet and is similar to the carpet you get at home.

Thanks,
Why advertise EMBROIDERY if your machine is bust?
Anyone know anyone else who does embroidery?
