« on: 21 September 2010, 11:46:07 »

I have 2 omega estates one a pre FL on an M plate the other a FL on a S plate the gearbox has gone on the fl so intended to swap with the other which was in good order when last used, nether have mot or tax, I am thinking of putting them on ebay as they need to go I need the space and swimbo has a company car. so my dilemma is do I list them as one auction for both cars or separately?

I don't think so matey, S  plate is far to early for a facelift, mini-facelift maybe but not facelift.

I'd list them as two auctions - very few people will want to buy a 'job lot' of cars, unless you get the few people who'll buy them and do precisely what you were intending to..

Put the pre up first then refer to that auction in the description of the mini.

I would put a reserve of £200 on each as well, you will get about £150 each from the scrapman for the cars and between £30 and £50 for each cat ;)

Yep deffo two auctions otherwise you are restricting your market, and mention the second car in the ad..just be careful you don't fall foul of ebay rules for listing more than one item in a single auction..

Definately 2 auctions as your narrowing down buyers if you list them together and people may even expect a discounted price for "taking them both off your hands" ;)
