Paint stripper, engine de-greaser and traffic film remover........got that to?

You dont do any re-build work on  head unless its realy clean.

Also, you need a tool to remove the stem seals.......should have mentioned that to.

Well put it like this......I dont own a pair of long nose pliers long enough to do the job and I have a reasonable range of long nose pliers.

This is what you need....because they are a long way down the machinings....!

I use a 10mm deep socket on an extension bar to fit the seals....they fit a treat in the end and just push on.

Yep....same head design and seals.......the valves on the 1.8 (big block), 2.0, 2.2 (Omega/Sintra/Frontera varient), 2.5, 2.6, 3.0 (with the exception of the exhaust valves which are sodium filled), 3.2 (as per 3.0) are all the same to.

Yep, that's right.

I've got 3 valves out.. including the broken one -

Interestingly, the broken one is a tad bent... but the guide and seat seem / feel ok... I've tried inserting a different valve into the guide, and it feels the same as the others..
