Already impressed, fitted to front, car handles better (got to as it replaced to crap tyres), runs quieter too.

Got them in the end for £85 each :y

Easy trap to fall into that.   :).

I agree, car was fitted with crap budget tyres when I bought it, noisey, poor handling etc.

Time will tell.

Looking at overall prices for 225/55/16, I wouldn't consider £89 to be dear, looking at £110+ (averaging around £130)anywhere within reasonable travel distance from me  ;)

The wear rate is good. The stopping power was good - or was better than the brakes ::) - so if they could give them some small ability to do corners, I would pay the high prices.

But given the cornering ability, after they have been on a couple of months, I wouldn't pay £30 for one.

225/55/16 is a less common size, thus more expensive.

The wear rate is good. The stopping power was good - or was better than the brakes ::) - so if they could give them some small ability to do corners, I would pay the high prices.

But given the cornering ability, after they have been on a couple of months, I wouldn't pay £30 for one.

Very odd. I have PS3 on mine and they are brilliant. Havent let me down once. Straight line, cornering, wet grip are all very good and a lot quieter than SC3 and GY F1 assymetric that was on previously. Ok my cars are a 2.2 and 2.6 and not a 3.2 as yours. But surely they cant be that different. Have you just got a bad set?

My only complaint is that they wear out quickly and are expensive.

ETS in Nottingham are ok.

Quite a few good tyre outlets around here.
