Guy you have got me looking at the Car I want to have in the near future... the nearer the better  ;D

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2003-TVR-TUSCAN-S-GREEN-/140606087119?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item20bcc69fcf

i saw a nice tvr the other day sounded fantastic had the exhausts coming out at right angles and a strange looking boot, but looking is as close as i will get but the noise........

Sounds like a Sagaris which had the batty exhausts: http://www.seriouswheels.com/pics-2004/2004-TVR-Sagaris-R-Car-Show-1280x960.jpg

Wouldn't say no to a nice Cerbera or Griffith myself, since they have the right number of cylinders  :D

you'll need to get a move on then while they're still vaguely affordable. I had a quick read of an article on Griffiths yesterday about what to look for etc when buying. The car they showed was a 500 and was for sale at £21 000  :o :o :o

I think they flashed it over in a sandstorm, a complete mess. Lots of bad welding over unprepared surfaces, headlights pointing all over the place & one indicator lens glued in as they had'nt fitted the wing properly. Overspray in the shuts & valences (over the tailpipe!) It would be ok for a few hundred quid as a full restoration but they've caused more work as you'd have to undo the mess they made just to get started.

I walked away cash on hip. Feeling sorry for whoever bids & wins it as they'll either be buying a money pit or they'll walk.....will we see it relisted due to a timewaster? Sellers can be timewasters too!

I'll bide my time & wait for a good'n. Meanwhile my lovely old Mk1 estate passed her MOT on thursday so will be attending the BIG BASH @ the Stockyard tomorrow. 8-)

I think Ford made some lovely looking cars, made some that went fast too. Not sure why everything went pear shaped. That Frog Eyed Granada thing they made was hideous.....

My Mum & Dad had the Vauxhall Viva on the old H plate which I still think is a lovely shaped car (thought about getting one). They had the newer shaped one after, OED 87M  ( ;D how is it you can remember stuff like that) which were nowhere near as pretty in my opinion...

GM Europe LOVED it, did a lot for sales of what we drive now

Hello guy, yvonne sends regards, i had a 73 mk3 tina it was my first car and i loved it. it too was a GXL but was only 1600cc qwith the early slopey dash. had it nearly 3 years till a pakistani in an uninsured corolla ploughed in to the back of it in Tooting and shortned it 3 feet >:(
Glad you saw it first and walked away with your wallet still stuffed full.
