Centres and Caps On.
« on: 08 December 2010, 15:15:07 »

Here's a strange thing....I muffed up again.
Ordered new centres and caps for the new alloys, didn't notice that they were "charcoal", not the usual silver. To hell with it I thought, lets see how they look.
Perhaps its just me, as it's my car but i think "charcoal" looks rather cool against the silver but that might me because I have a black car..wadda you reckon ?

I haved to say that I like those wheels on the Omega , I read a comment that they seemed to " modernise " the car and wholeheartedly agree.

LOL... I tend to muff up initially but more often than not it works out eventually. One's flown off already so bidding on some more....not sure I pushed it home fully.

When the centres turned up in dark grey I said "oooooooo crap" but as soon as they were on..."cool".

Wheel wise they were from an early Vectra C Sri...called twin spoke.  After a while they changed them to single spoke which I don't think look as good.

It oozes 'class' - especially from that front three quarter view. Where does the grille come from? It really does blend into the body colour.

Thank you for your comments, they sure transform the car for little expence.

The grill is one of the el cheap ones that appear on ebay germany.

I think you have a fabulous Car!
The charcoal really works IMHO

Don't knock the 'cheap' stuff from where ever - if you like it and it adds a sense of something for you and your car - don't think it makes a stuff where it came from.

Very nice indeed.............. :y

Also....I've got the added "bonus" that its an Elite on the MV6 chassis. I was told by some senior OOF members that Vauxhall cocked up for a short while when they changed to the F/L. When VX realised they spoke to the DVLA who insisted that they were registered as MV6's due to the sports set up. Mine is ideed registered as a MV6 but internally is clearly the Elite.
