Omega velour floor mats wanted
« on: 13 July 2010, 20:43:27 »

As per title please, I'm after the original velour floor mats;
I think they're about £36 new plus vat. My dealer said they were £56 and wouldn't give the 10% TC discount, so I declined.
Does anyone have a set in good condition? Obviously a bit of wear is only usual, but I'd like the sewn 'Omega' bit to be relatively unmarked.
Part no. is 91132419 if that helps.
I know one member on here called Andy works in a VX parts dept, but I can't remember which Andy that is?

I didn't think they would be still a serviced part/accessory so I bought a set of solid rubber ones from Halfrauds which had a nice oval shaped heel section in the design which feathered down around the edge, cut this shape out and simply cement-bonded it on top of the worn heel holes with black Sikaflex, turned out tops now I think its better than the original :y :y

Thanks Entwood, I shall send him a PM  :y

Cliffo B- I'm not too keen on the rubber mats really, there's a set in the 3.2 Elite estate I have, and they're pretty good for easy cleaning, but I don't think they look quite as good as the velour one's, which admittedly will be less hard wearing.
That is a good idea of yours though, maybe you clould start a side line of reinforced mats for OOF members  ;D

I wonder if I explained properly, I still have my Omega velour mats with embroidered omega logo, and now no heel wear holes, but with a small island area under the drivers heels nicely reinforced to prevent premature heel wear and soiling, seemed to me a good way of rescueing my mat with heel wear holes and thereby the full set from the rubbish bin.

When I first joined the forum I was looking through the gallery and came accross a car called the "The Mothership" that belongs to ilovemyomega and I fell in love with them.

Sadly never been able to find a set (But if any body is selling a set of wool miggy mats then please PM me, am after the same as in the pic, or a black set, other colours considered, thankyou)

The ones in the pick are OE fit over mats and came as single mats. I might still be able to get these but i need a trim code.

The accessory type mate come either in pairs if they are rubber or a set of four if they are Velour

The Velour mat set is 91132419 @ £36.80 + VAT

Rubber Front Mats, 91143686 £22.55 + VAT
Rubber Rear Mats, 91143687 £15.56 + VAT

Cheers
Andy
