just changed the creaky drivers door bush  now its the rolls royce of door closures no bad for 25 pence and 1/2 hours wait at crap parts dept  evans halshaw airdrie

y`know i was going to say that sounded like my parts department........and it is.... thats my dealer too..

friendly enough guys....not the sharpest though

does anyone have to part number for the repair kit for the door side of the check strap....

Both of my doors have broken and the dealers have got a clue what i am on about

.... I'm sure its on here somewhere and I have one at home.  Its a couple of plates that sandwhich the original door - I think you have to buy them separately, so two per door, presumably plus some bolts - can't remember.

I'll look it up when I get home if you're still in need then. :y

I ordered the parts last Thusday and picked them up Monday just to let you know the torx screw part number has changed it was 13104167 it is now
13155557 and they were 14 pence each

Changed mine a year ago.

This week, drivers door started to exhibit same cracking noise so changed again.  All is well but a bit disappointed my original fix only lasted a year :-?

Luckily, its only a few pence to sort :y

I really need to sort out a kit for my drivers door, I'm sure I can be heard for miles around when I open mine  ::)
