Omega headlights
« on: 01 November 2006, 16:04:55 »

Hello everyone,

I have been offered a pair of new headlights for my omega. They are the Xenon type from an face lift model (X reg).
As you know mine is a 1995 omega elite and i was wondering if i could change them over as they are alot more attractive than the older ones.

Please advise because they are a good price and i do not want them to go

Cheers Nick

Being that the facelift headlights are a slightly different shape to the pre facelift they would fit but the piece under the units would not fit correctly also if they are xenon you would need the power packs and self levelling suspension and possibly more

I am sure someone with more knowledge on the subject will post up.

The facelift headlights do not fit prefacelifts particularly well.

Also, to fit HIDs, you should really have a headlight cleaning system and a automatic (not manual) headlight levelling system, although if retro fitted this seems to be a grey area...
