Says it works in mine.  Would be interested.  I guess it changes the menus too, since this one has post code and house number?  Mine doesn't with the '99 disk.

Yes, will work in minifacelift sat nav units.....will not work in the Siemens VDO facelift units.

Moderators/Admin, can we have a separate secret section for SatNav issues, tucked far away from the public eye, as to not repeatedly offend users who do not have the original Vx SatNav and as yet were unable to get their hands on one from eBay / the scrappies?  >:(

What, you mean like the NCDC2013 and matched GID I have sat in my garage awaiting fitting..... :y

But no CID yet ;)

Do you need to program HU and GID together? Let me know if you need it doing ;)

The later disc's will work with the early Vauxhall Carin systems (basically a Carin 440) but be aware that the system can run quite slowly as regards indexing and route calculation. The later discs have far more information on them then they had in 1996/7 when the Carin system was introduced and are really designed for more modern systems with faster processors. If you make a wrong turn it can take a while for the route to be recalculated. That said it does work but just a little slow at times. You may wish to borrow a later disc to try out first before committing the cash to buy one to see if the performance is acceptable  ;)
