Have you got any seepage around the throttle body gasket?

i.e. does it look brown / dirty?

We are talking about idling on petrol?

Seepage??  :'( The throttle body is very dirty/oily.....noticed how bad it was when i took the big air pipe off this morning...and the top of the throttle body where the big air pipe goes is wet with oil ..... would this be causing it then ??  :-/

Dunno, but it can't be helping can it.

Job for one day next week then  :y

Anyone know about the P1130 code?

Is that an O2 sensor dying?  :-/
Not necessarily. Could be a failed lamda, but could also be the ecu is ignoring it based on other factors (throttle not moving as expected/air leak/misfire etc etc)

Ok thanks.....i think next step is clean the throttle body and fit new gasket.....

One question tho about the butterfly......i noticed in a post by Mark.....tho this was for a 2.0 he mentioned making sure the butteryfly is fully closed.....i noticed mine wasnt this morning......you can push it fully closed but its springs back to a bit open....is this normal on 2.2??

Cheers

If I remember correctly, yes.

Thankyou  :y
