Note the section labelled 'Install' at the bottom of page 2: 'Apply adhesive e sealing compound (black) to sealing surfaces (arrows)' , and the lower of the two pics showing the area where the sealant need to be applied. Also, it is dated 28/02/1995 so hardly new stuff...
