alternator noise

hi guys. my alternator bearings are making a racket so i was wondering if anybody has changed them and what was involved in the job. also would i need special tools to do this,. any advice :(

Sorry I jumped the gun a bit there as there is no mention of bearings :-[

Easy enough to do.....idealy you need a puller and either an impact screwdriver or a good rechargeable drill (they need shocking out!) to get the 4 bearing plate screws out...you also need a star drive to hold the rotor shaft whilst you undo the large nut that holds the pulley on...

Other than that there are only two bearings.....

 1 off 6203 2RS
 1 off 'cant remember but same bore and thickness as the oterh but larger diameter'
