I don't beleive that it's possible which is why I bought a new one (with no noticable effect!)

On mine, it clears most the screen on the 1st sweep, but misses some, which it clears as the wiper returns.
3rd party wipers missed much more which didnt clear at all.

Front wiper arms can get bent : If someone is trying to remove wiper arms and has bonnet open, lifts arm to fully up position but still cant get them loose so tries to close bonnet to attack arm from top....result one bent wiper arm. Ive seen it on 3 cars so far and it means that the blade doesnt meet the screen at right angles. One example was so bad that the spoiler had scored the screen.
