Ah, ok. I didn't know that. I'd assumed that audible warning arose out of towbar fitters not bothering to run wiring back to a dash light.

Not quite right. An audible OR visual indication is required. Towbar fitter can't be bothered to remove the dash and fit the extra lamp, the wiring is already there between the lamp holder & the 4th pin of the 4 pin flasher relay
