water drips
« on: 07 August 2007, 23:24:09 »

Could anybody tell me if it is usual for water to drip from under the car. Had a look and it is coming from to black overflow pipes either side of prop shaft.

Are these for the climate control, just getting rid of condensation in the car? I only ask as the other week there seemed to be a lot of water dripping from them.

Thanks  :D

Yes - but only when the aircon is on!

To be on the safe side, are you actually loosing any coolant? If not, then it is nothing to worry about. Just make sure it is water and not ATF...

If its from either side of the bell housing, it will be aircon condensate.
