Hi all well we interested in getting another omega a 2.5 v6  the fella says the coil pack is no good now is this a big job and is it pricey also what does it involve as we are not sure where the coil pack is located any help would be great

On a v6, the coil pack (DIS pack) is behind the passenger bank of cylinders. Doable DIY, but very fiddly - I struggle to get my fat fingers in. Brand new DIS packs about £80 from Ebay, but there are 3 different types fitted to v6, so you ideally need to remove and check before buying.

Hubby went to look at the car and decided against it s it also has cracked windscreen and other bits wrong with it . But thanks for the help .
