 :'( my car is poorly  :'( got a misfire at idle and is well down on power ! had a good look all weekend and unable to sort it ! fitted a ful set of genuine plugs but the right hand bank rear plug was seized  >:( after lots of pushing and pulling and left to soak in oil over night managed to get it out and it had been cross threaded and the nose of electrode had split and half of it had fell off !!!! so after fitting new plugs and a known working dis pac and set of leads still got misfire and lack of power so tonight fitted a known set of working injectors and still misfireing and down on power !! compression test tommorrow night ! what im after is has any body had any probs whith the ceramic off spark plugs damaging valves ??? thinking possibly a bit ceramic has got stuck in valve seat  :'( hope not but is it possible tia mark

I have had a poorly repaired set of heads shed a valve guide section and damage a valve.

I assmue the poorly plug is sitting in the thread ok?

yea mark cleaned out threads with old spark plug with a cut down it !! so all plugs sat square and tight ! going out now to do the compression test any idea what i should be looking for on gauge bud ??  :'(

done compression test and the cylinder with the broken spark plug is only at 75 psi nad the other 5 at 160 psi  :'( :'( :'( looks like head off and new valves bugger  >:(
