No its not red, just the way the pic has turned out, looks like very clean oil, which would be about right as only topped it up last week, and the car is manual not auto

Looking from the front of the engine......can you take a picture of the top front of the sump looking down from above.....I suspect crank oil seal.

Not a leaky PAS pump, is it? Does it lose fluid from the power steering?

I think its coming from above the sump - the plug is just the lowest point and hence the oil runs down there.
