How do i clean the breathers on my 1999 omega?
« on: 22 October 2007, 13:31:17 »

I have the 1999 2.5 litre v6 Omega.

Im due to be taking my family away tomorrow and i want to clean the breathers.

Unfortunately, im not sure how to go about this and i dont have time to browse forums and such.

Can anyone please tell me, in moderate detail, how i can clean the breathers.

Thanks a lot!!

Ash.

How long a trip are you going on?

Just to be practical,  if it was me I would be waiting until a less critical time before doing a job that I hadn't done before.   eg there are several orings that you may or may not need to replace.  Unless you've got them in already or can just walk round the corner to Vx, that could leave you high and dry.

Don't get me wrong, its a straightforward enough job and absolutely worth doing, but perhaps not exactly now..
