Hi All
Same omega 2ltr 51 reg petrol lpg conversion was driving the car back yesterday from garage and it was dark put the lights on and when I looked down to the gear selector noticed that the indicator light telling you in what gear the gearbox is was off.I have noticed that when you put the headlamps on the light on the gear selector goes off vice versa when you switch the lights off the gear selector light comes on I noticed as well that half the dash illumination are off as well meaning half the light of the rev counter and the petrol gauge are off being the first time driving the car in the dark I dont know if it was like that when I bought it last week.any suggestions please

There have been posts on here before about the gear selector light problem. Unfortunately, it was a while ago and I dont think it was resolved. Unless someone knows better.

If it's anything like mine it wil have a mind of it's own, sometimes I get an indication of when I'm in D sometimes I don't. Sometimes it works against 3 ....  sometimes it doesn't.

Hi, I had the same problem after I replaced the radio for an aftermarket one, I damaged a wire behind the centre console when pushing it in. It caused exactly the fault you are getting. Just a thought, might be worth checking.
