right ive got an altonator on the way to my omega as we speak.

is it possible that it could have fried the ECUs + fuses?

twas too wet and cold last night to unplug it and try if that made a difference

PAPER CLIP TEST QUESTIONS

- When i do the test does it reset the fault codes?
ie once i replace the altinator should i do the test again and have a fault free test? (hope and pray) or will the old faults still come up?

Cheers for your help  :y
It does not reset codes.

Some codes clear automatically on fix (or after a set number of clean starts).
Some codes remain stored, but hidden from paperclip test
Some remain stored, and still on paperclip test.

And, no, disconnecting battery will not clear the codes...
