run out of petrol so filled up then would'nt start engine light on just pops from air box and thats all can u help cos dont no what to do its a 2.5 v6  :-/

OK, could do with more information, like how long did you run the starter after you filled up with petrol ?

did you press the accelerator at all ?

But try pushing the accellerator to the floor and holding it there whilst turning it over.

Go and smeel the exhaust, does it stink of petrol ?

Crank it over with the throttle on the boards for 10 second or so and then try again.


Are you sure it was out of petrol......when was the cambelt and tenioners etc last changed
