OIL COOLER

Hi everyone :) can someone tell me where i can buy a new oil cooler for my x25xe as ive been quoted £242 + vat and think that someone might be able to get me a better deal. Not to worry if not as im sure that somehow i will have to buy one. This is my first topic on here so hopefully someone can gaive me some help.  Thanks 8-)

Go back to Vauxhall and ask for the 'kit' that comes in at about £90.
You then just also need the sealant.

Hi jimbob thought that when rebuilding engine that it would be wise to replace oil cooler. Is this a safe bet or are there other ways of doing it 8-)

If its not leaking then it will be fine as long as you keep the anti freeze mix correct at 50:50.

Its worth considering re-sealing the cooler plate to block seal with the correct sealent if the heads are off (the plate can be removed with the cooler still attached then)
