I did replace them...along with new bolts (I broke one!) .....cost around £6 just for the 2 washers and £5 for the 2 bolts


Did you use genuine Vx Doughty washers or pattern ones ?? Just read in another thread that pattern ones leak ??

Genuine washers and bolts... :y

I think I need to either use some of that dye or wipe clean as you said and run engine to see if leak becomes apparent....
