manifold studs.boot internal release
« on: 22 February 2008, 08:33:59 »

Have 40k 51 plate 2.2,one manifold stud snapped, can see they can be bit of nightmare to replace, how much would i expect to pay from independant garage to fix and any other jobs i should get done at same time?,also internal boot release switch not working, fuse is ok is problem likely to be with switch or mechanism, have not the ability, time or space to do much to the car myself!  thanks Dont do lot of miles in car would leaving stud alone and running with emmision light on cause any major problems, short or long term

Do you have no keys in the ignition?

Does the remote button opener on the key fob work?
