2.5 td diesel pump leak????
« on: 29 February 2008, 22:24:58 »

Hi, I had a major leak from the pump. I have replaced the top gasket as this can be done without touchin the timing. This slowed the leak but it still does leak. Does anyone know of anything common that i can check out b4 spendin serious money?

The unions at the back where the fuel pipes join have been known to leak a bit.

last time i saw a supposed fuel leak from the pump it turned out to be the leak off return pipe was split and running back down to the pump where it looked as if the pump was knackered
may be worth a try?
