« on: 01 March 2008, 16:21:31 »

Remeber when I asked about diff bolts coming loose, well I had them replaced and fitted this morning and now the slipping gear fault is less common than before (it only happened once in an hour wheras before it would happen every 10mins or so :o)

Interesting huh? 8-)

Gearbox change will now take place once i have the new thrust washer and a naughty soldier .... abuse of position .... me ..??   ::) ::) ::)

Hmm....missing bolts is never a good thing.

Were they on the prop doughnuts, if yes then it would have been unbalanced!

Nope they were 2 of the 3 that hold the diff onto the mounting which was pretty scarey to say the least as I didnt know until I was on the ferry.  My 9 hour drive back from Germany became 14.  When I get to Deutchland tomorrow I will try and take a pic and indicate which ones had fallen off.
