Bulb replacement for the buttons under the CC
« on: 04 March 2008, 14:23:04 »

The buttons underneath the Climate Control [rear defroster, ECO, etc], how can their bulbs be replaced. I have already removed the center console and the speedo unit many times, but could never find a way to change those buttons. I have looked through out the forum, but couldn't find any info on this. Are they the 5mm bulbs used in the rest of the dash? Thanks  :)

I took the ECO button out. Is there any way to just replace the bulb inside? The ebay ad said "only some of these switches have removable bulb's, please check yours before you purchase".

If you dismantle the switch, you should find a wire ended bulb soldered in.

Did my eco switch a while back, sadly didn't take any photos but I don' remember it being too hard.
