i am changing roker gasket because on one side there was oil leak into the spark lugs so should i change the oder side too on that site there is no leak. i ask this because in the service they dont have 2 sets at the moment i should wait 7-10 days to arive. so i intend to fix this one side with problem and on other side just thiten a little bit the screws. My vory is that on the other side (if i dont change it) there will be son an oil leak and this is not 5 min work. so pleas any opinion is it ok to do only one side or i must do both.

Personally I would wait until you have all off the gaskets, O rings and sealer then fit in one go

i itend to buy only those 2 big rubber sealings and 8 little o rings for gasket. what els do i have to change. every other seallings was good and no leak (those on inlet) so is there any other material that should i buy.

Make sure the cranckase breathers are cleaned, do not overtighten the cam cover securing screws, 8NM I think is the correct torque.

 the black sealant if you look in maintence guides it lists the parts you need and part numbers for vauxhall !!

only one problem mine is opel and i think par nr are different couse im from eu. i dont hawe to replace ilet sealings?

I changed only the leaking side and had no problems (so far).

Thing was that luckily the leaking side was the drivers side, so easy access and I couldn't be bothered with the passenger side where the wiring loom is annoyingly in the way.

However had the passenger side gone, I would have probably also done the 'easy' side while I am at it just for good measure...

when you get new gasket ,clin first heads by spirits also use special silikone for gaskets not RED OR BLACK best is Victor herc silkions is grey colour  easy to fund in good shop with car parts in whole europe.after put some on head and cam cover but not to mutch.when you finish  need live for 4-8 h to get dry  should be ok .if this not work must be cam covers bent

Use only original Vx black RTV P/N 90485251:




And apply it only at the specific points detailed in the Maintenance Guide section, not all over the contact surface....

I did my passenger side only, (the difficult one), because the other was OK and I've had no problems. I made sure I cleaned the breathers thoroughly, of course, and I now have a gasket and sealing rings spare for future use.
I didn't change the large round plenum sealing rings as these were in perfectly good condition and were doing their job.
And I think warped or bent cam covers is almost unheard of. The problem with them is usually caused by bad breather maintenance. Clean at least every 12 months for normal motoring.

Agreed. But is it available in Croatia?

here we have GM but insted i am buying Mobil 10w-40 semisint that was in the car before.
