Please HELP ! - Power Steering Box
« on: 08 March 2008, 15:44:27 »

Hello Everyone,

I have recently purchased an 2001 'Y' reg Omega Estate 3.0 MV6 Auto ex Police vehicle. It has done 50400 miles and requires a new Power Steering Box to be fitted. The vehicle has come with the part to do the job but Haynes do not make a manual for it. I wondered if anyone here would be able to advise me or e-mail me with any documentation they might have. Also i am looking for an original stereo system for the vehicle as again it does not have one at the moment. Any ideas where i can purchase one and what model i need ? Many Thanks to anyone who can help me with this dilemna. Cheers

I would agree and i was suspiscious too. All service history checks out as do all old MOT's the vehicle has. I would think it has been put through it's paces being ex-cop so i suppose it's just one of those things to go wrong. Can anyone advise me on the stereo that should belong with the vehicle ? I am not sure where to obtain an original stereo for it without going back to dealer and i don't know what model it should have in it ?
