Are AST any good for wheel balancing

JUst getting some vibb from the rear wheels at about 58 mph. Have a AST in town just to check if any one has used them for wheel balancing and if they are any good or just the same as any were eles.

Also drive a Savage 25 niro truck...and flys a Bell 47 twister Savage 46 ss and a Tamiya audi TT ..for now.

My honest opinion mate is ATS and Kwik fit are rubbish from my own expierience, if you have alloys make sure they treat them with respect, i ended driving 50 mile to find someone who did a 5 stud balance as opposed to the above companies using a single centre nut to attach the wheel to the balance machine, the Kwik fit balance was well out.

Thanks for that Miggy Will have a look around for somewhere like that.Don,t want to waste money if they are not going to do it right.  . How much did it cost you and where did you find a place that did it.

It was a company in Swansea......no good for you ;D ;D, I just rang around and asked the question, how do you balance wheels, when i asked some of them did they use a 5 stud adapter i got some answers saying whats one of those.

It cost me £30, and they found that Kwik fit were well out

JUst had a check and a place in town do it cost about £8 per wheel so will give  it a try at lunch.
