water leak

recently had oil cooler changed,then had bad water leak coming from back of engine.took it to garage who verified that it had a leak when engine was warm.while they were trying to find where the leak was,it stopped????they said it might be a valve in the heating system??anyone know of this,please

Usual suspect is the heater bypass valve, which ties in with their thinking.

There's a HOWTO covering its' replacement on here. :y
