Maintenance Help.

Hi guys, new to omegas and V6's. Im reading in maintenance section to check this and clean that regular but TBH it is straight over my head.  :-[ :-[ My friend does all my mechanical work for me but Id really like to do the simple stuff myself. Ie cleaning and checking. :) :y Could someone please tell me what needs cleaning/checking and then i can print off the how to guides and have a go myself  :D thanks and sorry for being a pain in the backside  :y
