My mig ticks over at 500 rpm. Is this too low as all other motors I have owned have been around the 750 mark??  :-?

Air con on or off?
My 3.0 will tick over at around both your quoted figures when A/C is off or on.

Sounds about right .Mine ticks over with a/c off at 500 and with a/c on at 650,so might be a tad high but can only be adjusted with Tech2.
