Glove Box removal
« on: 11 May 2008, 08:22:04 »

Hi,

You may have seen my post about my air con woes where I have found that the air is not blowing from my centre vents due to a vacuum hose being off the back of the switch. Great, I thought, an easy fix, but I just couldn't find the hose.
I reckon, if I remove the glove box, the hose should be running behind there and as a result I should be able to pick it up from further back as I just couldn't get my arm in far enough to find it behind the heater switches.
The previous owner had a car kit and I reckon the hose was pulled off when this was removed.

My question is, after a quick look yesterday, "how do you remove the glove compartment?"

Thanks
Mike

From memory........

Remove the passenger side air vent (plastic cover exposed with door open will come off to expose some screws)
Loosen airbag cover (3 or 4 screws)  Enables you to lift it up slightly to reveal some screws.
This and other exposed screws it will come out  :y
