Cheap tyre dealer - get what you pay for....
« on: 14 May 2008, 20:48:38 »

I got a broken level sensor on the back of my Elite after the cowboys jacked it up >:(

Does anyone know roughly how much they are new or any of you have a cheap 2nd hand one? I'm going to ring the tyre place in the morning but don't expect to get anything out of them.

Cheers

Steve

It's the HID sensor. You don't know roughly how much they are new do you?

Just found out part no. is 9117094 £56+VAT retail. Front & rear are the same so if anyone has either they want to sell cheap....

Is it the arm that has snapped?   Mine has on the HID sensor (broken by the last MOT place) - anyone know if that is replacable separately?

You can get just the arm - parts people asked me to confirm it was the sensor and not just the arm that I needed.

Sorted! Tyre dealer has ordered the part & was very sorry for the damage caused. Guess they're not that dodgy really, just a bit careless.  :)
