Without a car - sleeping at work!
« on: 21 October 2007, 15:01:54 »

As you know my car is off the road at the moment, pending the release bearing so I can refit the gearbox

Hence I am using a combination of bicycle and trains to commute, for my nightshifts at the moment.

It's amazaing how much you miss the car!

When I finished last night's nightshift, being Sunday, and no trains running anywhere, I couldn't be bothered to cycle such a long way, so I've been asleep in a boardroom on an airbed  ::)

Only problem is, I could really do with a shower, and none are working here, so it looks like I'm going to be smelly for tonight's nightshift  ;D

I'm just going to pop to Sainsbury's, get some toothpaste and a brush, and then come back and grab some more shut eye, before starting work again at 7!

Unfortunately not, if it was busy I'd get away with it... but to be honest, I'm grateful it's quiet!!
