A puncture repair is about £15.

Elite now gone.  Bought an X-Type 4x4.  If there had been an Omega 4x4 I would have bought that instead.  We really liked the Omega, but I wanted 4x4.

Or a part worn tyre if you have somewhere local is about the same usually and wont have a puncture in it...plus often has about 6-7mm and a good make :)

I bought one of these sets of ebay (item number 140234366821)
Used it 4 times now and has proved very good indeed.

Not sure I would trust those pluggers. I'm sure they are meant for heavy industry tyres such as tractors and earth movers, where the speed of the wheels is quite slow and non road going. Could be wrong though!

Think you will find that those pluggers are an illegal fix as they dont mushroom tyres anymore in the fitters ,but will check with me brother as hes in tyre game long time.

Dad got stuck two weeks ago away from home and local ATS did mushroom type repair for him.

Also these plug type ones do create a kind of mushroom head when fitted, admittedly not as good as fitting from the inside.
