on both my old 99 2.5 cdx and my current 3.2 i had a wobble on the steering wheel between 80 and 90 mph. all other speeds fine, no prob.
cdx had it from the start, and continued through 3 sets of tyres and balances with 3 dif. tyre fitters, no one could shift it.

then got 3.2, exactly the same wobble, same speed. had wheels checked for balance by local firm in Reading.balance spot on, nothing wrong, explained history to the boss; "hang on a mo" he says and re appears with a box of bits. A
haweka duo balancing system!!!

sometimes use this he says, its fiddly and takes longer so we only use it in cases like yours. it only contacts the wheel on the balancer where the wheel would mount to the car ie. the flat surface at the back of the wheel and the 5 bolt holes the wheel nuts centre on. a normal balance just centres on a cone that fits in the hole on the outside of thr wheel, nothing at all to do with the actual mounting points of the wheel. took a while to set up on balancer but its copletely cured the wobble[smiley=2vrolijk_08.gif]. No wobble up to 135(sometimes a re balance can just move a wobble to a dif speed range) when i ran out of bottle.
Now i feel a bit like i struck gold with this as i spent forever trying to get rid of it, but i never looked on here for an answer, so if you all know about it and is common knowledge or do not have the problem at all, then please admins, delete it, but as i had it on 2 diff cars and a mate had same wobble on his 2.0 B i bet it would prob. help at least a phew. comments invited, oh and in my excitement i realise i aint searched it to see if its been covered before, but here goes anyway
Hope helps
